Nu:Tekt NTS-3 kaoss pad kit

KorgPedals & multi-FX

Build-it-yourself Kaoss Pad effects kit with logue SDK generic effect slots

The NTS-3 kaoss pad kit is an effects unit from Korg's Nu:Tekt line that is assembled without soldering (Korg gives under 20 minutes). It combines the Kaoss XY touch pad with built-in filters, compressors, delays, reverbs and modulation effects, and up to four effects can run at the same time. It has sync input and output, reversible side panels, and combinations of effects can be saved.

Notes

Custom firmware images are not known. The NTS-3 runs user effect units built with logue SDK 2.0 (.nts3unit files). Instead of the modfx, delfx and revfx types used elsewhere, it has one kind of unit, genericfx, which can be any effect or even a sound generator; the SDK documentation lists 50 slots, four identical effect runtimes, and system firmware 1.0.0 or later. Units are loaded with Korg's KORG KONTROL Editor and appear at the end of the effects list. The same unit can be loaded into several runtimes. Units run alongside the stock firmware rather than replacing it.
