Description

Written in Rust with a vendored libusb. It flashes a .bin over the bootloader's serial interface, powers the device into the bootloader, and manages songs on the eMMC by converting four stereo stems to 8-channel IMA ADPCM and uploading them. A fresh device must be formatted with rome before music is loaded. The repository also contains a desktop GUI and an Android app, and the project site documents all three. The README says rome is required to use marisko.

Install notes

Desktop GUI builds for macOS and Windows are on the release page. For the CLI, use the README one-line script (it builds with Cargo) or cargo build --release. Run rome format once on a new device before adding songs; it erases the eMMC. Stem upload talks to the running firmware over raw USB, so Linux may need a udev rule.
