Description

Uses the Dexed-derived msfa engine, with a DX7-style editor, the FM-1's effects chain, a 64-step sequencer and an arpeggiator that follow the host transport. Each instance is set to one firmware: M-VAVE stock, baud girl's FM-1+VA, Felucca, SLOOP or Melodee. Felucca, SLOOP and Melodee run from their own vendored source, with their screens and front panels. Two-way sync with hardware needs FM-1+VA 0.97 or one of the supported open firmwares; on M-VAVE stock it can send but not read back. Presets and patterns export as JSON, with a schema. FM-1+VA's virtual-analogue engine is not modelled yet and plays through the FM engine. Windows, macOS and Linux builds; hardware sync on Linux is untested.

Install notes

Installers on the releases page (macOS pkg, Windows exe, Linux tarball) are unsigned; the OS will warn once. A software-only instance needs no FM-1. Set the firmware menu to whatever the connected unit runs before syncing.
