Description
Each layer has two voices, its own engine, and a looper that holds up to ten overdubs of different lengths. New sounds are drawn by generators, steered toward an ambient or an experimental path, and the four knobs can become macros for reshaping the sound live. The screen uses very large type and high contrast for low vision. It has 64 session slots and 64 presets per engine, and a browser installer that reads what the FM-1 runs before writing. Built on Felucca and SLOOP; sessions are saved in the area SLOOP uses for projects.
Install notes
Browser installer in Chrome, Edge or Opera over USB; it installs over M-VAVE's firmware, SLOOP, Felucca or an earlier Tonitor. Saving sessions overwrites SLOOP projects stored in the same flash area. Hold OCT- while switching on for USB rescue mode, then install again. Return to M-VAVE's firmware with M-VAVE's own updater.
