Description

Pocket GammaWave (GW-1) redraws the screens around a glowing solar-core home page, a 24-band FFT display for the filter and a six-zone voice ribbon, and adds a hidden 3D visualizer. Hold OCT- and press another button for shortcuts: song generator, mutation, dice per track and undo. It uses the FM-1's user sample flash to hold eight songs and 32 DX7-style voices, so user samples are lost. The Web Studio runs the same code in the browser, records four tape tracks and exports WAV. Parts come from Felucca, JIANT, SLOOP, Melodee and X0X. The same author sells a separate desktop plugin, GammaWave, which this does not require.

Install notes

Web installer in Chrome or Edge over USB, or the .fwsc from the release page. From another custom firmware, the README says to use the installer's return-to-V15 option first, which backs up flash and asks you to download M-VAVE's own FM-1.fwsc from M-VAVE and select it. Back up any user samples before flashing.
