FM-1 Macropad Patch

Firmware for FM-1 (M-VAVE)

Binary patch for stock V15 that makes all 55 inputs (14 buttons, 27 keys, 7 knobs in both directions) send USB-MIDI notes, for use as a macro pad with a host-side translator.

Description

Does not turn the FM-1 into a macro pad by itself: a computer app must translate the notes into shortcuts. Screen and LEDs stay dark, the settings screen is unreachable after patching, and the MASTER knob still sets volume without sending MIDI. The repository contains no M-VAVE firmware; docs/PATCHES.md lists the original byte sequences for verification.

Install notes

Download FM-1.fwsc (V15) from M-VAVE yourself, patch it in the browser (WebAssembly) or with fm1patch.py, then flash with the usual update tools. The README states that no recovery method for this model is known. Input monitor page included.
