Each track is an E(pulses, length) pattern with rotation, 1 to 64 steps in four bars of 16, plus per-track note, gate length, mod CV level and velocity. Tracks A to C drive their gate, pitch CV and mod CV jacks and MIDI channels 1 to 3; track D drives trigger jack 1 and MIDI channel 10. Tempo runs 20 to 300 BPM with tap tempo and 50 to 75 percent swing, with MIDI clock, start and stop out and start/stop in; external clock sync is not implemented. The PITCH, GATE, MOD and CONTROL keys scope the pads to one parameter, keys 1 to 4 pick the bar, and LOOP loops a bar. Settings and 64 saved projects live in SPI flash, and the image includes its own SysEx self-updater. Written from an independent specification with no Korg code; the authors state it is not certified safe on hardware.

Load the prebuilt .vsb from the registry in the browser emulator, or build it with make and validate it (make check, make test). To flash, take a full backup under stock firmware, hold GLOBAL + PATTERN at power-on and send the .vsb with the Aleph Void updater web app. The image reports version 1.0, older than stock 2.0x, so the host tool's downgrade option is needed; whether the stock updater accepts it is unverified. Projects share the stock saved-project slots and overwrite them. Return to stock by sending Korg's official .VSB through this firmware's updater.
