Beebo

Poly EffectsPedals & multi-FX

Touchscreen pedal that hosts a patchable collection of LV2 effect and synth modules

Beebo is a touchscreen pedal from Poly Effects, an Australian maker run by Loki Davison. Its Linux-based firmware lets the player load effect, looper, synth, convolution and modulation modules onto a patching screen and connect them to each other. Digit, an earlier Poly Effects pedal that shared this hardware, was merged into the same firmware, so older Digit units can be updated to it. Presets can be exchanged with the Hector Eurorack module.

Notes

Poly Effects publishes the Beebo and Hector UI source in the digit_ui repository and installs updates from a USB stick. The 2026 version 407 installer replaces the storage file system and is documented as a long procedure with a manual reflash fallback that needs the case opened. Beebo was listed as sold out on the Poly Effects shop. Poly Effects also sells Verbs, Ample, Trails, Kanso and Flat V pedals; none of them is documented as running this firmware and the firmware page warns against updating Verbs units.
