Open Lua + SuperCollider sound computer on Raspberry Pi hardware

norns is a small open-source sound computer from monome built around a Raspberry Pi Compute Module, with an OLED screen, three encoders, three keys and four USB ports. Scripts are written in Lua and sound engines in SuperCollider, edited from a computer through the maiden web interface. The norns shield, which adds the same interface to a standard Raspberry Pi, and the community Fates board provide the same environment on other hardware.

Platform
Raspberry Pi (CM3 in norns; 3B, 3B+, 4B in shield and Fates), Linux

Notes

norns, the DIY norns shield and compatible boards such as Fates run the same open-source software; shield and Fates disk images differ from the standard norns image, and any of them can then use SYSTEM > UPDATE for the current OS release. Scripts and mods written in Lua or SuperCollider run on the stock OS and are software, not firmware, so they are not catalogued here; browse them at norns.community and discuss on the lines forum (llllllll.co).
