MIDI to eight gates and velocity CV converter
TRAM8 is a Eurorack module from LPZW.modules that turns incoming MIDI into eight gate outputs and eight matching CV outputs. It takes MIDI on a 3.5 mm TRS jack, passes it through to a second TRAM8 for daisy chaining, and drives the CV outputs from a 12-bit DAC. Firmware is replaced by sending SysEx files over MIDI. It was sold in a 1U Intellijel-format version and a 3U 5HP version.
LPZW.modules publishes its own alternative firmwares (Clocks & Random, 16-gate, MultiPitch) in the manufacturer repository; they are not catalogued here as separate entries. Custom firmware loads through the module's SysEx update mode.
Custom TRAM8 firmware with velocity, CC and SysEx operating modes, per-gate MIDI channel and note filters, MIDI learn, and a macOS VST3 bridge that drives the module from a DAW over SysEx.
