Compact analog bass machine with a step sequencer
The volca bass is a compact analog bass synthesizer made by Korg as part of its volca series. It has three oscillators, a single analog filter and a step sequencer with slide and an Active Step function. It has a sync jack and a MIDI input.
Updates are audio files played into the sync jack, the same way as Korg's own updates. The one known custom firmware is binary-only and its author no longer maintains it.
Modified volca bass firmware 2.01, built on Korg's 1.02. Sends the correct velocity on MIDI out notes and handles slides correctly on MIDI out.

Browser-based patch editor for the volca bass that uses Web MIDI to send the few parameters Korg exposes over MIDI. Includes an on-screen panel and keyboard and a local patch list.
