KorgSamplers

10-part sample player with 16-step sequencer

The volca sample is a compact digital sample sequencer made by Korg, released in 2015 as part of its volca series. It has ten parts that play 16-bit samples at 31.25 kHz from 4 MB of memory (about 65 seconds), with room for 100 samples. A 16-step sequencer with motion sequencing drives it, and the unit has sync in/out and MIDI in.

Notes

Covers the original (mk1) volca sample. The unofficial firmware installs the same way as Korg's own updates and can be overwritten with the official file. Community reports suggest it may draw more current than stock, so check the power supply.
