Loaders, emulators and analysis tools for several Elektron boxes
This entry groups host-side software that works across more than one Elektron instrument, rather than a single device. It covers the loader used to apply mods to the Digitakt and Digitone families, emulators of their firmware, an OS container tool and a Ghidra module for the DSP56300 processor family.
Host-side tools that serve more than one device: the elekloader mod loader, digiemu and digikit emulators, the OS container tool, and a Ghidra module for the DSP56300. None bundle Elektron firmware; you supply your own .syx. Elektron does not permit sharing mod files or links on Elektronauts (policy of 2026-09-16); community discussion moved to elektronmods.com and modwerk.app.
Emulator for Digitakt, Digitone (mk1), Model:Cycles and Model:Samples that runs their real firmware behind a clickable front panel, with live audio and MIDI. Apps for Windows and Apple silicon Macs; bring your own .syx.

C tool to inspect, decompress and rebuild Elektron OS .syx containers (ELE3, ELE2, ELEK, AD and older Machinedrum/Monomachine formats), replacing a section and recomputing checksums.
