Description

Classified as a tool because it works on updater files you supply rather than publishing firmware images; its output is a modified updater that you then run with Zoom's own installer. It can also extract effect files from an updater, which zoom-zt2 then installs over SysEx. The README notes that Four-series updaters contain a GUARDZDL.ZT2 file whose handling is unresolved, and zoom-zt2 says this repacking approach did not work on the G1Four.

Install notes

Needs Java 8 or later and the original Windows firmware updaters from Zoom, which you download yourself. Edit the updater, then run it as normal.
