The qdelay and glitch engines are GPLv3, as are firmware builds that include them; vendored third-party DSP keeps its own upstream license.

Description

sk-engines keeps the Spotykach's panel, pads, knobs, clock, CV and SD card behaviour fixed and makes the DSP engine underneath interchangeable, with one firmware binary per engine. The README lists more than twenty engines, including the original granular looper, tape and shuttle loopers, delay and reverb effects, a four-voice Euclidean drum machine, ports of Mutable Instruments Rings and Plaits, and scriptable Csound and ChucK builds. Some engines need an SD card prepared with the project's tools, and some run from QSPI flash. Engines derived from GPL code (qdelay and glitch) are GPLv3.

Install notes

Pick a sk-<engine>-<version>.bin from the releases page, connect the rear USB-C port of the Spotykach main PCB, hold Reset for about three seconds until the pads breathe white, then flash with make ENGINE=<engine> program-dfu or dfu-util. Looper and player engines read the SD card, and the firmware does not convert files, so use the card tools shipped with each release. The README notes that the Spotykach bootloader ships in the repository as bootloader-spotykach-v2.bin.
