Firmware for Matrix-1000 (Oberheim)
EPROM firmware for the Matrix-1000 that speeds up many slow MIDI parameter updates, adds Gligli's detune and an NRPN addressing fix, and shows parameter values on the display while they are changed over MIDI.

Description
Written by Bob Grieb of Tauntek after studying how the Matrix-6 code handles parameter updates and what Gligli's v1.16 had changed. Faster parameters include VCA amounts, several VCF and DCO parameters; envelope and LFO parameters were already quick and are unchanged. The author states it does not discard parameter updates and describes it as not exhaustively tested but in wide use. The image is available as a download from the Tauntek page, and programmed EPROMs are sold by Tauntek and by two authorised resellers. The author states the code is copyright-protected and that no one else is authorised to sell it.
Install notes
Program a 27C256 EPROM with the image and fit it in place of the stock system ROM.
