Description

Grains is a granular sampler, live audio buffer processor, and scrubbable tape player for the Workshop Computer. It splits live or stored audio into micro-grains, with real-time control over density, grain size, playhead position, pitch, window envelopes, feedback diffusion, stereo spread, and onboard reverb.

The card features 16 flash sample slots (slots 1–4 for persistent live-recorded buffers, slots 5–16 for custom audio files), a dedicated browser-based Grains Sample Manager for sample uploading/normalizing/flashing, and a special power-up Tape Mode for manual scrub-style loop playback.

Install notes

Copy the UF2 onto the Computer's program card (RP2040 bootloader drive).
