Description
433 Sense of Space is supplied as 2 MB and 16 MB builds. The 2 MB build uses a compact 10 kHz stereo 8-bit ambience asset, while the 16 MB build uses a cleaner 24 kHz stereo 16-bit ambience asset. It is not a recording or reconstruction of a 4'33" performance, but a sound work about the anticipation, room tone, and incidental activity around one. Switch Up stops and arms the performance, Switch Middle starts three 91 second loops sourced from 1:30-3:01 of the BBC recording, and the left column LEDs count down from three loops to zero. Switch Down or Pulse In 1 triggers a short chair/stool creak one-shot representing the musician shifting in their seat. Pulse In 2 restarts the full performance from the beginning.
