Description
The keyboard payload is loaded into RAM through the chip's ROM bootloader, shows a scrollable list on the 240x240 display and enumerates as a vendor USB device, so nothing is written to flash and it is gone after a power cycle. The phone acts as USB host. The author reports it verified on hardware on 2026-10-13, but only fake file lists move in either direction. Directory listing, transfer and a remote-UI model are written up as proposals, not implemented. The firmware half builds only inside a checkout of the Oscuro SMK-37 project, which the repository does not link.
Install notes
Build the payload inside an Oscuro checkout and run it with the repository's UBOOT runner script; the Android app opens in Android Studio and needs a phone with USB host support. The README notes the USB ID is from a shared test range.
