Description

PlaitsXplorer offers Plaits models such as virtual analog, hard sync, wavefolders, FM, granular, additive, swarm, particle, noise and drum simulations, and ElementsXplorer is a modal synthesis voice based on Elements. Both reuse the front panel controls and tSoniq's front panel code to give seventeen digital engine controls, with access to the envelope, a second LFO and note velocity, and support for expression pedal, mod wheel, aftertouch and MIDI CC control. The author stresses that they run as ordinary user oscillators and do not modify the instrument's firmware. They are for the prologue only. Audio demos are on the author's SoundCloud.

Install notes

Download the zip from the releases page, read the PDF manual in the repository, and load the units with Korg's prologue Librarian. The README advises stepping each Param 1 to 6 up and down once after selecting a new model, because bipolar values default to minus 100.
