Description
The Macro Oscillator 2 units are based on Plaits and cover virtual analog waveforms, waveshaping, two-operator FM, granular formant, harmonic and string models, plus a wavetable oscillator that is split into six units of 8 rows by 4 columns to fit the 32 kB size limit. The Modal Resonator unit is based on Elements and uses only the strike exciter, with a reduced filter bank and a 24 kHz sample rate. Each unit adds parameters in the Multi-Engine menu and a second key-synced LFO. The README notes that all parameters start at their minimum, that the Sound Librarian can time out while transferring a unit even though the transfer completes, and that the Modal Resonator is reported silent on some units, with lighter builds provided.
Install notes
Download units from the releases page and load them with Korg's librarian. Install the Modal Resonator one unit at a time if transfers fail.
