Description

maxisynth is a drumlogue synth unit by boochow that shows how to use the Maximilian audio library with logue SDK 2.0. The main branch is a complete synth with one oscillator, one low-pass filter, one envelope generator and 12 parameters. Two further branches hold a minimal band-limited sawtooth unit and a modified dummy-synth template for Maximilian-based projects. It needs a patched fork of Maximilian, which the author provides. The Korg unit index lists it as a free sample unit for the drumlogue. Other projects, such as maxisynthsvf and maxisnare, are forks of it.

Install notes

Download maxisynth.drmlgunit from the release, put the drumlogue into USB mass-storage mode and copy it into Units/Synths. To build it yourself, place the repository and the patched Maximilian fork under platform/drumlogue and use the logue SDK docker tooling.
