Five-voice compact analog polysynth
The Take 5 is a compact five-voice analog polyphonic synthesizer from Sequential, announced in 2021. Each voice has two oscillators with a sub oscillator, a four-pole resonant low-pass filter based on the Prophet-5 Rev4 design, two envelopes and two LFOs. The keyboard has 44 keys with velocity and aftertouch, and the synth includes a 64-step polyphonic sequencer, an arpeggiator and onboard effects. A keyless desktop module followed in 2025.
No custom operating system is known for the Take 5. The entries here are host-side editors that talk to the synth over MIDI SysEx.
