Analog polysynth reissue, five or ten voices
The Prophet-5 Rev4 and Prophet-10 Rev4 are Sequential's reissues of the original Prophet-5 and Prophet-10, sharing one operating system. Both have two oscillators per voice, a filter switchable between the Rev1/2 SSI and Rev3 Curtis designs, and a Vintage knob that adds the pitch and envelope drift of earlier revisions. They add velocity, aftertouch, polyphonic glide, MIDI and USB to the original panel layout, and come as keyboards or desktop modules.
Main OS updates are SysEx files sent over USB, with a bootloader recovery path documented by Sequential if an update fails to boot. Mods patch Sequential's own Main OS file, which you download yourself; the OS is not redistributed. The stock OS has no arpeggiator or sequencer.
Patch for Sequential's Main OS 2.1.0 that adds an arpeggiator, a 512-step polyphonic sequencer, keyboard octave shift and per-program arp and sequence memory to the Prophet-5 and Prophet-10 Rev4, all from the front panel.
