Probabilistic grid step sequencer (discontinued)

White Whale is a Eurorack module from monome that turns a connected grid into a probabilistic step sequencer. A 16-step loop is the base, with each grid column a step offering four trigger outputs and two 0-10V CV values, along with step mutes with a chance setting, sixteen patterns and quantizing scale maps. Timing comes from an internal clock knob or an external clock input, and playback continues when the grid is disconnected.

Notes

White whale is a legacy monome module. Its firmware is open and it is a target of the multipass alternative-firmware framework; Kria and Orca are the well-known alternative firmwares. Back up before flashing; an update replaces the whole image.
