Open DIY Teletype expanders: output (TXo) and input (TXi) over i2c
TELEX is a family of 4HP Eurorack expanders by Brendon Cassidy (bpcmusic) that add inputs and outputs to the monome Teletype over the ii bus. The TELEXo output module has four trigger outputs and four CV outputs, and the TELEXi input module has four CV potentiometers and four CV inputs. Up to eight of each type can be addressed independently, and each module is built around a Teensy.
TELEX modules are open-source expanders for monome Teletype that use the monome-style i2c (ii) bus; the README says they could also extend other monome devices. Firmware is loaded to the piggybacked Teensy with Teensy Loader, and the README warns not to power the module while the Teensy is connected to USB. The last firmware release is from 2021.
Open firmware for the TELEXo output and TELEXi input expanders for Teletype, an Arduino/Teensyduino project loaded onto the module's Teensy 3.2 or 3.6 with Teensy Loader.
