Virtual modular host that runs ported VCV-style plugins in a module
MetaModule is a Eurorack module from 4ms Company that runs virtual software modules, including ports of VCV Rack modules, on real knobs and jacks. It has six CV/audio inputs, two gate inputs and six CV/audio outputs, all 24-bit at 48 kHz and DC-coupled, plus twelve mappable knobs, an encoder, a USB-C port for MIDI devices and drives, and a microSD slot. Patches can be built on the module or exported from VCV Rack.
The firmware and plugin SDK are open, so the scene is mostly plugins: VCV Rack modules recompiled with the SDK wrapper, plus native plugins. The MetaModule name may not be used in derivative works; phrases such as "for MetaModule" are allowed when promoting a plugin.
Official open-source firmware for the MetaModule. Runs virtual patches built from native and ported plugin modules, with MIDI expander and VCV expander support as of v2.4.0.

SDK with a VCV Rack wrapper for compiling existing Rack plugin source into MetaModule plugins, plus native plugin support. The examples repository builds Airwindows, Fundamental, Venom, Bogaudio and many other ports.
